The Vision
Keeping our roots enriched.
Kore is the long-term vision: a connected family of sensing technologies for the home and the environment. It is being documented in the open by one founder, starting with one room and one prototype.
Pre-prototype · The vision is a 10-year architecture · today it is a documented concept
Origin · 2026
One founder, building in the open.
In 2026, Kristian Brown, a solo founder in Austell, Georgia, began documenting Kore in public: the spec, the decisions, and the build log, all published as the work happens. Nothing on this site is presented as further along than it is.
The name
Kore means Keeping Our Roots Enriched. The name is the mission statement: technology should help people understand and protect what they already depend on. The air in the room, the water in the pipes, the materials in the bin.
The place
Austell, Georgia. The ambition is global, but the work starts local: one room, one prototype, one documented bench test at a time. Every partner and pilot will be named only when they exist.
The method
Build in the open. The public build log records what is planned, what is done, and what failed. The V0.1 prototype spec is published before the hardware exists, so anyone can check the work against the plan.
The ambition
A connected family of sensing technologies spanning environmental sensing, home systems, water, air, plumbing, waste, cycling, gardening, personal wearables, intelligent protection, and software intelligence. All of it is a 10-year architecture. None of it is commercially ready.
The story in full
It all starts with a seed.
The vision is usually drawn as a platform diagram. Told honestly, it is a growth story: one seed, planted in one room, growing into a home, a network, a materials loop, and a company. Here is the whole arc, in the order it grows. Every stage below is a concept, staged and labeled.
Chapter One · The Seed
One sensor, one room
Every account of Kore starts smaller than you expect: one sensor, in one room, in one home. A Seed does one thing. It pays attention. Planted on a wall or slipped under a sink, it begins the record that everything else in this vision depends on, because a system cannot protect what it has never watched.
Chapter Two · The Root
The house grows a nervous system
A seed by itself is a diary nobody reads. The Root is the hub that listens: local compute in the room, gathering every Seed into one nervous system. The sensors are the roots of this vision in the literal sense. They are how the house feels the ground it stands on, and how what is sensed reaches the surface in time to matter.
Chapter Three · The Home That Feels
Noticing, not just measuring
Grown in a home, the system stops reporting numbers and starts noticing days. Heat rising where heat should not be. A stillness that lasts too long after a fall. Air that has quietly gone stale or dangerous. Personal Intelligence is the soul of this stage: it learns the rhythms of the people inside, and it shares what it learns only with the trusted circle those people chose, one consent at a time.
Chapter Four · The Network
One home becomes many
One home is a story. A street of homes, a school, a church hall, a senior residence, a workshop: that is a network, and a network learns faster than any single room. Each site keeps its own internal intelligence in its walls, and the patterns that matter travel, so protection proven in one place can guard another.
Chapter Five · What the Waste Becomes
The vision feeds itself
KoreBin takes in what a community throws away (plastics, textiles, e-waste, and metals, iron and steel included) and returns Kore Ore: sorted, compacted, labeled, bench-tested material. This is upcycling, not recycling. Failed material never enters a product. The waste stream becomes the supply chain, and the deposit earns Kore credit (concept only) for the people who keep it turning.
Chapter Six · The Forge
Products that plant seeds
KoreForge takes the ore and prints finished products whole, in seconds, without layers. Boards become panels, panels become homes, and the homes are KoreHomes: built from KoreBoard and sensed by Kore from the first stud. The products carry sensors of their own, so everything the forge makes plants new seeds, and the loop closes wider than it opened.
Chapter Seven · The Two Intelligences
Living and making
Two minds tend the grown system. Personal Intelligence is the intelligence of living: people, rhythms, consent, care. Material Intelligence is the intelligence of making: the same sensing turned toward machines, lines, and materials, flagging drift in a factory the way the home flags a fall, beginning in shadow mode until its judgment is proven. Between the two stand trusted human professionals: family, doctors, engineers. The systems surface. The humans decide and act.
Chapter Eight · The Grown Vision
Two directions, one company
The grown vision is a company with two directions that feed each other: a sensing network for the places people live and gather, and a materials and manufacturing loop that turns waste into the substance of those places. Services keep it cash-alive while it climbs. How it earns, and the gates it must pass to grow, are set out on the road below: targets and gates, published honestly, in the open.
Two horizons, clearly separated
A 10-year architecture, and a concept-stage present.
The vision and the current stage are different things, and this site never mixes them. Read the right column first.
| Aspect | The 10-year architecture | Where it stands today |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | A connected family of sensing technologies spanning environmental sensing, home systems, water, air, plumbing, waste, cycling, gardening, personal wearables, intelligent protection, and software intelligence. | A documented concept for those lines. One written spec: the V0.1 one-room prototype. |
| Hardware | The full Kore Root and Seeds family, plus the product lines described below. | No hardware built No prototype is assembled. Components for V0.1 are selected, not purchased. |
| Validation | Tested claims, backed by bench tests and controlled pilots. | No tests performed Test plans are written. No results exist, so no claims are made. |
| Team | A working company with engineering, design, manufacturing, and commercial capacity. | One founder Kristian Brown, Founder and CEO. See the team page for the honest gaps. |
What honest stage-marking requires
- No part of the 10-year architecture is implied commercially ready. Every product line below is a concept.
- Concept visuals are labeled concept. Nothing on this site is photographed or rendered as a real product.
- Figures carry their basis. The only verified financial figure anywhere on this site is the ~$18,000 plus components V0.1 build quote on the prototype page.
Platform architecture · Concept
Four layers, one platform.
The ecosystem is a layered platform, not a single device. Each layer is shown below exactly as planned, with its stage marked honestly.
Kore Root
The proposed hub: local compute in the room, and communication with the modular devices around it. Planned to process and store locally first, so core sensing does not depend on the cloud. The only hardware list that exists is the V0.1 spec.
Kore Seeds
Modular sensing units that connect to the hub. Seed Sense and Seed Air are the V0.1 scope. The rest are roadmap concepts: documented ideas, not selected components.
Kore Intelligence
The software layer: planned concepts for sensing, pattern learning, event detection, device and community connection, protection routines, and personal insight. Concept only. V0.1 plans only the polling loop, threshold comparison, and alert dispatch described on the prototype page.
The product lines
Eight product lines carry the platform into specific problems. Each one is a concept, described below with its stage, the evidence it still needs, and its next milestone.

The road we are on
A billion is a direction. Gates are the road.
These rungs are targets and gates, not revenue, traction, or forecasts. Kore is concept stage, pre-prototype, and pre-revenue today. Each rung unlocks only when its proof exists, and the proof is published here as it lands.
$1K
One paid thing. An audit sold, a Kore Business client live, or the first services jobs dispatched. Proof that strangers pay.
$10K
Repeatability. The same offer sold three times without heroics, and one recurring contract on the books.
$100K
A working prototype. V0.1 exists, and one pilot runs on real Seeds with measured results.
$1M
Two verticals earning at once. The signal library visibly compounding, and a team beyond the founder.
$10M
Materials and sites. KoreBin and materials sales live, commercial sensing across dozens of sites, partners printing catalog products.
$100M
Licensing carries growth. Platform and territory licensing outpacing headcount, KoreHomes standing, closed-loop control trusted in live plants.
$1B
Infrastructure. The default sensing layer across homes, buildings, and factories, with materials, manufacture, and intelligence earning on the same installed base.
